Giving

LIFT US
TO THE JOY DIVINE

All that we have is a gift from God and our lives are an expression of gratitude. Financial gifts support a vibrant, energetic community and also help us develop a personal spiritual commitment. Giving what we can is a joyful experience as we do so in thankfulness for all of God’s blessings.

2018 Annual Stewardship Campaign

On behalf of the 2018 Stewardship Committee and the larger St. Peter’s parish family, we want to thank you for your past support. Your pledge makes a difference. We look forward to next year with eager anticipation. 2018 is the year to become creative in our ministry, take steps to further strengthen our church, and broaden our impact. Now more than ever, we are all dependent upon each other. Our parish needs all of us to make a commitment this year. Help us meet our goal of 100% participation!

THANK YOU for your support!

Christmas Flowers

You may now place your order for Christmas flowers to beautify the sanctuary! If you wish to have your acknowledgement appear in the Christmas Eve/Day booklet, all orders must be placed by Monday, December 4th. Christmas Flowers donations received after that deadline are appreciated, and will still be designated for the flowers, but the acknowledgement will not meet the Christmas booklet print deadline.

You may order now and make your donation online by clicking here. You will be asked to fill in the details of your gift—in memory of, in honor of…. Easy steps to giving online! Or, as in years past, you may place your order by completing a form available from the Church Office and in the Sunday bulletins through the end of November. You may submit the form to the Church Office with your check, marked for “Christmas Flowers”. Thank you for your donation!

Senior High Trip: Houston, TX; June 9-16, 2018 (rising 9th graders-graduated seniors)

In late summer we watched from afar as Hurricane Harvey wreaked havoc in Texas. The largest rainstorm in US History caused massive flooding and displaced thousands from their homes. The youth of St. Peter’s were moved by such suffering in the wake of natural disaster. In response, they are journeying to the Houston Area this upcoming summer to help with the recovery process. Through the trusted youth-missions provider YouthWorks, St. Peter’s Youth will be joining hands with other churches’ high schoolers, college students, and adults to help rebuild the Houston Area. Rising 9th graders through graduated seniors will depart June 9 and return on June 16. An initial deposit of $115 is due on November 2nd. After this date, spots are not guaranteed. Please contact Maria Maguire at mmaguire@stpetersepiscopal.org with any questions or to sign up!

Memorial/Honor Gifts and Flowers in Memory or Thanksgiving

Honor and remember others through your gifts to St. Peter’s by designating them in honor or memory of your loved one.

Planned Giving

There are a number of ways to provide for the future of St. Peter’s Church while making decisions about your own estate planning. Through planned giving, parishioners may include the church in their will as a reflection of gratitude to God and the Church. St. Peter’s has been built upon the generous stewardship gifts and bequests of parishioners throughout its history. We encourage you to discuss these options with your financial advisor. The Endowment Fund of St. Peter’s is used to further the mission of the Church. Contact one of the clergy or the financial administration department for more information.
