Children's Christmas Pageant
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing “Glory to the newborn King”.
All of us at St. Peter’s would love to have your child involved in this year’s Christmas Pageant! It is a remarkable experience for a child to help recreate the story of the Nativity during the Service of Holy Eucharist on Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24th, at 4:00 pm. Children and a multitude of angels, shepherds, sheep, Roman Soldiers, Kings and camels will take part in this joyful St. Peter’s holiday tradition.
Our one and only Pageant Rehearsal will be on Saturday, December 21st at 10:00 a.m.; in order to take part in the Pageant your child must attend this rehearsal, so save the date! Ages 4 to those in 5th Grade will have a costumed part in the Pageant, and students in 6th and 7th Grades will be the Readers. Our brave Confirmation Class will shepherd the children throughout the performance. Another opportunity for your child to participate would be as a Chorister. Children in Grades 3 and above who are interested in joining Choristers please contact David Sinden, Director of Music, .
Please let me know no later than Monday, December 16, if your child will be able to join us! You can respond by email to , see me at church, or leave a message at church, 314.993.2306, ext. 108. Please contact me if you have any other questions or if I can help in any way. I will look forward to being in touch with your family.
New this year: we will have a Toddler Christmas Story and Living Nativity during an extended Children’s Chapel on Sunday, December 22nd 10:00 to 10:25a.m. Please join us!
